We offer a wide range of dance styles to cater to the diverse interests of our students. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced dancer aiming to perfect your craft, Raj Dance Studio has something for everyone.

Our Mission: At Raj Dance Studio, we believe that dance is a universal language that brings people together. Our mission is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and provide top-notch dance training in a welcoming environment. We aim to nurture and develop the talents of our students while making dance fun and enjoyable for all.

Owner: Mr. Raju Poli Raj Dance Studio is owned and led by Mr. Raju Poli, a passionate and experienced dancer with years of expertise in various dance forms. Mr. Poli’s vision has always been to create a space where people can learn, grow, and experience the joy of dance. His leadership and dedication to the art form have made Raj Dance Studio one of the most trusted dance schools in the region.

 

Ballet

A classical dance form characterized by graceful, flowing movements, intricate footwork, and precision. Ballet originated in the Renaissance period in Italy and became highly developed in France and Russia. Styles: Classical Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, Neoclassical Ballet.

Hip-Hop

A street dance style associated with hip-hop culture. It involves dynamic, expressive movements like popping, locking, and breakdancing (B-boying). Hip-hop emphasizes improvisation and personal style. Styles: Breaking, Locking, Popping, Krumping, New School Hip-Hop.

Jazz Dance

Known for its energetic movements and rhythms, jazz dance combines elements of ballet, modern, and African dance. It often involves improvisation and can be seen in musicals and contemporary performances. Styles: Broadway Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Latin Jazz, Street Jazz.

Tap Dance

Tap dance is characterized by rhythmic tapping of the toes and heels on the floor, creating percussive sounds. It blends elements of African rhythms and European clogging. Styles: Classic Tap, Rhythm Tap, Broadway Tap.

Modern Dance

Modern dance emerged as a rebellion against the rigid rules of ballet. It emphasizes freedom of movement, expression, and the use of the entire body. It’s often performed to modern music. Styles: Martha Graham Technique, Horton Technique, Limón Technique, Contact Improvisation.

Contemporary Dance

A blend of modern, jazz, and ballet influences. Contemporary dance is known for its versatility, fluidity, and emotional expressiveness, often involving floor work and improvisation. Styles: Contemporary Ballet, Lyrical Dance, Modern Fusion.

Salsa

A lively and energetic Latin dance originating from Cuban and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Salsa emphasizes quick footwork, spins, and partner coordination. Styles: Cuban Salsa, New York Style, LA Style, Colombian Salsa.

Ballroom Dance

A collection of partner dances, ballroom dance is known for its elegance and poise. It includes both smooth and Latin styles and is often performed in competitions. Styles: Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble, Samba.
